Be the eyes to the lost and the blind
Truly help them their way to find
To the famished freely give bread
Help save the fearful from their dread
To the wanderer be a true father
Lift those at the base of the social ladder
Give when in your power the thirsty water
And “come back later” do not utter
Be the stranger that saves the day
Be the unseen hand that leads the way
Lead the broken to their healing
Don't refuse the nudge; be willing
Spread love not for a reward
But as a faithful steward
And when you do hurt or fall
He'll show up before you call
